My breath is an anchor I carry everywhere.

I can be unsure and still keep going.

Stopping is not quitting. I am allowed to rest here.

My feet are on the earth, and the earth is holding me.

I have survived every hard day so far.

Doing it afraid still counts as doing it.

Resilience

I bend in the weather. That is how I stay standing.

I have done harder things than today with less than I have now.

I don't need every answer today — only my next step.

I can tell the truth about how I feel, starting with myself.

I will not rush my own healing to make it convenient.

I am allowed to have been learning at the time.

I don't have to earn the right to take up space.

Like a tree, I grow slowly — and that is still growing.
